I love the world. I delight in all that nature offers - the winds, the waters, soils and rocks, insects and birds, animals too many to fathom, and even humans with their contradictions and clumsy fingers.

As an artist, I seek to lure the viewer into my pictures with beauty, but once there, I hope to shake that up. Titles, poses, and the complexities within the compositions encourage deeper readings.

For me, painting is a form of social activism. The act of brushing colour onto a surface is my visual protest against greed and blindness. I teach these creative methods to connect people to more harmonious and peaceful ways. Stepping into Art is an experience, a way of life. The energy of the artistic mindset that exists in us all can change the world.
